Flight Planning
Instrument Flight Solutions use Jeppesen FliteStar IFR. This is an essential flight planning tool. It greatly simplifies the task of flight planning, and is an invaluable tool for efficient IFR flight.
We also provide all students with a complete set of Jeppesen Approach plates for the duration of the training. We use the Jeppesen Jeppview approach plate software. This is an efficient way to use approach plates for training, without the need for you to buy chart subscriptions before using the charts in real IFR flying.
Simulator
We have an Precision Flight Controls CAT II PCATD flight simulator.
This uses Elite Flight simulation software.
Plane
Cessna 172: Our airplane has been outfitted with the best instrument equipment available for efficient IFR training. It is not a rental. It is used exclusively for our IFR training. It has Dual King 155 nav/comm receivers, Dual VOR/ILS Indicators, Dual transponders, 2 axis Autopilot, 180HP engine, ADF, Oxygen system, and STOL Kit.
